Claire and Julian are experienced artists who collaborate regularly, with work ranging from Festival & Carnival pieces to Large Scale public sculptures and Community Art events.
Claire trained in Painting at Glasgow School of Art, and her work still uses the skills formed from that foundation in colour and drawing. With over ten years of experience subsequently instigating and managing community arts projects, much of her work is now 3 dimensional, and often interactive.
Julian’s background as a blacksmith combined with training in Fine Art and an understanding of architectural ironwork and many materials enables him to create work of great scale and significance. His work includes producing Liverpool’s iconic Superlambanana and a Hillsborough Memorial Sculpture honouring the 96 victims. Having worked together previously on a number of large projects they have found their skill sets to be complimentary, and their collaboration to be both dynamic and inspiring.
